Just three years after the launch of AWI, the initiative’s programs, partnerships and projects encompass a range of research, policy and entrepreneurship. “It’s something that I cannot say exists anywhere else among our peer institutions,” says Chika Okeke-Agulu. “This is why I’m so grateful to Nassau Hall for saying, ‘This is unusual, but we’re willing to see what you can do.’ There’s a lot of leap-of-faith in this.”
